My apologies for my silence. It’s been 3 months since I last wrote, and that was about my new bookmarking service. Things are starting to get a bit settled down now. My home internet is going to be connected in a few days, and I’m looking forward to a more stable internet experience.
I’ve been using my phone as a wifi hotspot for the past 3 months, because my work and living conditions were very unstable. I’ve been living out of different people’s homes via airbnb for a couple months, and only settled into my own apartment a few weeks ago when I got a more secure job for the next 9 months. The home internet will be connected in a few days.
I can tell you, it’s going to be good to stop using my phone for my general internet service!
It’s been the reason I haven’t done any bookmarks (getting occasional and random disconnections isn’t a good thing when out in space making bookmarks while cloaked), and why I haven’t written anything. When I have been logging into the game – which has usually been every single day – I’ve just been sitting in a station and chatting with people in-game or doing other things out of the game.
I have a list with 10 names on it. It’s a list of clients who have wanted me to do bookmarks for them. I’m looking forward to actually going through this list, one by one, and doing the bookmarks as requested.
I realised this morning I should have organised a team of bookmarkers three months ago, instead of having a delay on this service. But I never thought I’d be without stable internet for 3 months! Now to just find a few people I can trust, with the skills that I need them to have… That could be a small adventure in itself.
